The H8 is Zoom's most versatile handy recorder, offering up to 12 tracks of simultaneous recording from 8 inputs. Four dedicated XLR mic inputs with phantom power, two XLR/TRS combo inputs that accept Hi-Z instruments, and an interchangeable capsule system give you serious flexibility for any recording scenario.
A color touchscreen organizes everything into three purpose-built apps: Podcast mode with sound pads, Music mode for multitrack production, and Field mode with large level meters for location work. It records at up to 24-bit/96kHz to SD card and doubles as a 12-channel USB audio interface. Swap in optional capsules for X/Y, Ambisonics, or even more XLR inputs. Over 10 hours on four AA batteries.
