It's an entry-level alloy rather than the bronze used on pro cymbals, so don't expect a pro sound just yet — but it's a genuinely solid, durable way to learn technique and get comfortable playing a full cymbal setup.

Zildjian even throws in a pair of 5A drumsticks, so this is close to a complete starter kit on its own.
