The Affinity Jaguar is one of the more interesting guitars in the entry-level Squier lineup. It takes the Jaguar's distinctive offset body shape and shorter 24-inch scale length and wraps it in the affordable Affinity package. That shorter scale makes the strings feel a bit slinkier under your fingers, which is great for bending and vibrato.

Two single-coil pickups deliver bright, jangly tones that have made the Jaguar a staple of indie, surf, and alternative music for decades. The switching gives you some real tonal variety to explore. The slim C neck is comfortable, the body is lightweight, and the Sunburst finish is classic Fender through and through. If you're drawn to the offset look or play styles where a standard Strat or Tele just doesn't quite capture the vibe you're after, the Affinity Jag is well worth a look.
