The TR-860 is the top of Jean Paul's trumpet lineup, and it punches well above its price. The hand-hammered two-piece yellow brass bell (4.92") delivers rich, resonant tone with serious projection, while the rose brass leadpipe warms up the sound beautifully. A reverse leadpipe — a feature usually reserved for much more expensive horns — helps center the tone and improve slotting.
With a .459" ML bore, lightweight stainless steel valves, and an adjustable 3rd valve slide ring, the TR-860 feels responsive and precise in every register. Each trumpet is set up and play-tested by NAPBIRT-certified technicians. Includes a professional carrying case and 7C mouthpiece.
