This is the Player II Tele for players who want more muscle. The dual-humbucker configuration replaces the traditional single-coil setup with two Player Series humbuckers that deliver thicker, hotter output — still articulate and clear, but with more sustain and less susceptibility to noise. The rosewood fingerboard adds a little warmth to the overall tone.

The body is alder with a gloss polyester finish in black, paired with a maple neck and a 9.5" radius rosewood board. The 6-saddle bridge allows for precise intonation on each string individually. If you want Tele playability and ergonomics but need the output of a Les Paul-style guitar, this is the one to try.
