Evans HD Dry Coated Snare Batter - 13 inch

The HD Dry is purpose-built for drummers who want a punchy, controlled snare sound with minimal ring. It combines a coated 5-mil outer ply with a 7.5-mil inner ply, plus a 2-mil overtone control ring on the underside and small vent holes around the perimeter that eliminate stray harmonics. The result is a tight, focused crack with very short sustain.

This 13-inch size is ideal for piccolo and smaller snare drums where overtones can get out of hand quickly. The coating gives you warmth and excellent brush response, while the dry vents keep everything clean and articulate. Level 360 technology ensures even tuning.
