The HD Dry is purpose-built for drummers who want a punchy, controlled snare sound with minimal ring. It combines a coated 5-mil outer ply with a 7.5-mil inner ply, plus a 2-mil overtone control ring on the underside and small vent holes around the perimeter that eliminate stray harmonics. The result is a tight, focused crack with very short sustain.

This 13-inch size is ideal for piccolo and smaller snare drums where overtones can get out of hand quickly.
