Miami Drummers

Why Miami Drummers Should Be Excited: The Drum Room at Audio Inclined

For years, Miami drummers had two go-to spots: Resurrection Drums and Sam Ash. Both stores made it easy to find real gear, talk shop, and connect with other musicians. But now that they’ve both closed, the city’s drumming scene has felt the gap. While we’re not happy to see Resurrection Drums go—because they did great things for the community—we’re here to keep that spirit alive and build on what they started.

Welcome to Audio Inclined, a new kind of drum store in Doral, just minutes from Miami proper. We’re committed to carrying the top brands drummers actually want—Mapex, TAMA, LP, Zildjian, Sabian, and more—and to supporting the Miami music community the right way.

Bringing Back a Real Drum Store to Miami

fter the old Sam Ash closed, local drummers had to drive far or settle for ordering online without ever hearing or touching a kit. Resurrection Drums had filled that gap for years, but with their closure, there was no longer a true home for drummers in Miami. That’s where Audio Inclined comes in.

We opened our doors in Doral to create a real space where musicians can try, learn, and connect again. Our drum section is designed for everyone—from beginners buying their first kit to touring players who want to test a TAMA or Mapex kit in person.

The Brands Miami Drummers Actually Play

Big-box stores tend to stock whatever corporate sends them. We don’t. Every brand and product we carry is here because local drummers use it and trust it.

  • Mapex Drums – Known for tone, strength, and reliability, Mapex kits deliver punch and clarity across any genre.

  • TAMA Drums – A favorite among pros worldwide, TAMA kits bring power, balance, and precision to any stage.

  • LP (Latin Percussion) – Essential for Miami musicians. From congas and timbales to bongos and cajóns, LP defines the Latin percussion sound.

  • Zildjian & Sabian Cymbals – Two legendary cymbal makers offering bright, dark, and balanced tones for every style.

When drummers search “Mapex drums Miami” or “TAMA drums Miami,” they deserve to find a real local store with full stock and expertise. That’s Audio Inclined.

What Makes Us Different

We’re not trying to replace Resurrection Drums. We’re trying to carry their mission forward. They built a sense of community and passion that inspired players across South Florida. We want to honor that legacy while modernizing the experience—offering a curated selection, honest prices, and hands-on testing for every customer.

Here’s what people love about Audio Inclined:

  • You can sit down and play before you buy.

  • We carry gear at all price points, not just premium setups.

  • Our team actually plays drums and helps you match your sound and space.

  • We support local schools, programs, and musicians instead of focusing on online volume.

One music-program director recently told us she’d never seen some of the items we carry because “big stores wouldn’t stock something this affordable.” That’s exactly our goal—to make good gear accessible to more players, not just those shopping at high-end price ranges.

Miami’s Music Scene Deserves Local Support

Miami’s rhythm is unique. Between Latin grooves, reggae, pop, and jazz, drummers here need flexibility and style. Buying local means you can come in, talk about your setup, and find the right gear for your sound.

At Audio Inclined, we work with band programs, churches, teachers, and gigging musicians to make sure every drummer has access to solid instruments. When you buy local, you help keep music education alive in our city and create opportunities for the next generation of drummers.

Why Trying in Person Beats Buying Online

You can’t judge tone or feel from a photo. Drum kits sound completely different in person—especially in Miami’s humid climate. Playing side by side lets you compare resonance, head response, and cymbal tone before spending a dollar.

At Audio Inclined, we encourage players to experiment. Try a TAMA Imperialstar next to a Mapex Mars, mix and match cymbals, or test a snare with different heads. We’ll help you dial in your sound, whether you’re setting up in a bedroom, church, or stage.

Honest Prices and Expert Help

We believe every drummer deserves quality gear, no matter the budget. That’s why we stock beginner, intermediate, and professional setups and price them fairly. You’ll find deals that beat big online stores, but with hands-on help and real advice from musicians who care.

We want you to leave with something that fits your sound, not something that just fits a sales target. That’s how Resurrection Drums built trust, and it’s how we plan to do business too.
